CREATIVITY AS A CONTEMPLATIVE PRACTICE - WORKSHOP

In this hands-on workshop explore creativity as a contemplative practice while immersed in nature. Participants will play with watercolor pencils, brushes, and sharpies to create nature-inspired pieces while also practicing a meditation skill. You will be guided by simple strategies to bring more joy and ease to approach creativity (and life). Beginners to the creative process and meditation are welcome. This is an excellent experience for anyone wanting to step into visual expressiveness for the first time or anyone wanting to infuse their creative endeavors with more joy, freedom, and kindness. Materials will be provided. 

MINDFUL TANGLES (WHEN LIFE IS STRESSFUL, DOODLING CAN HELP) - CLASS

Would you like to slow your brain down and find a bit more peace? Discover a different approach to meditation. Use creative practice, play with shapes and color for the purpose of finding joy, stress relief, or just slowing down your racing thoughts. Participants will have an opportunity to play with doodling as a form of meditation. We invite you to see this as a form of stress relief —it is not about producing something to hang on the wall. All levels of experience (including none) welcome. Materials provided. 

DRAWING NEW INSIGHTS - CLASS

Do you have a challenge in your life you’ve been wrestling with? Are you longing for insight on a situation? What if the way forward to your situation is hidden within you? Bronwen Mayer Henry will guide participants through an expressive meditation exercise to discover new hope, possibility and kindness. Participants will use creative materials to find wisdom and insight for their life. Absolutely no experience necessary.
