Forest Bathing

Forest Bathing is an evidence-based Japanese practice of connecting with nature as a way to boost your immunity, de-stress and contemplate the wonders of the forest.

Retreat Reviews

After this retreat I feel like I'm lounging in a hammock, with a nice gentle breeze and not a care in the world! I'm ready to approach life with a new perspective. This has reinforced for me how important it is to tend to my own soil before I can help others with their gardens. Rest and play do not need to be earned. Thank you for the reminder!!

I have many favorite parts - the beautiful grounds, the safe container that I walked into as I was greeted and checked in with by Rachel and Tami throughout the retreat, the workshops were informative and experiential, the women, the freedom to just be and do whatever I wanted, the food was special and varied, and the coffee, I’m such a coffee head ⛅️

This opportunity allowed me the time and space I needed to recognize and lovingly release things that have been holding me back, as well as plan how to take my spiritual journey to the next level.

This Rise retreat was simply amazing. The Woolverton Inn and their staff were so customer focused from the room set ups to the delicious breakfast they served each morning. The activities and workshop leaders that the Rise Team planned were a terrific blend of relaxation and learning with enough time in between to connect with new friends or just simply relax on the beautiful grounds. Will definitely put this on my calendar for next year. Thank you for creating such a special place for us to gather and refresh!
