Writing Facilitator and Encourager - Based in Somerset, NJ
Regina Cash-Clark is a writer and educator who focuses on issues related to social justice and equality. And she is also an advocate for women who are living in a state of overwhelm, since she was one of them. She reminds us that “doing the most” can also do harm, if our approach is not balanced.
TACKLING THE OVERWHELM: UNLEASHING YOUR AUTHENTIC WRITER'S VOICE - WORKSHOP
Using short prompts and creative exploration, participants will write fearlessly--empowered to ditch the overwhelm and embrace their writer's voices. We will identify and resist the roadblocks that can get in the way, such as self-sabotage and perfectionism. And we will end with next steps, including using content for blogs and other forms of self-expression.
"WHOSE STORY IS THIS?" WRITING YOUR OWN NARRATIVE - WORKSHOP
Group members will engage in the creative process of self-discovery by writing liberating personal narratives. Topics should reflect their passions, whether related to issues such as advocacy, aging well or getting a fresh start. And participants will develop a bio. that can be used both professionally and to accompany their submissions.
