The Weekend Getaway takes place at Trails End Retreat Center in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. It's a picturesque setting with beautiful facilities, 450+ acres of nature and endless mountain and lake views. The variety of accommodations allow you to choose what feels right for you.
The cabins are a spacious 1400 square feet with twin beds for 6 – 8 women. Each cabin has a spacious bathroom with two showers, sinks and toilet stalls. You'll step off your front porch into the serenity of the trees.
This is a great option if you are attending with a group of friends or coming solo and want to meet new people and make new connections.

The suites are newly renovated, heated and air conditioned rooms that accommodate 3 – 6 people in twin beds. Each suite room is assigned it's own private full bathroom located across the hall. Suites are primely located lakeside – you step out to a breathtaking view every morning.
Suites are a great option if you have a small group or want to meet a couple new people, and prefer a more intimate space with an upgrade in amenities.

The cottages offer 1 – 4 guests a lovely private experience with en suite bathroom and quaint furnishings. Private Cottages for 1 include a Queen bed with an upgraded mattress. Shared Cottages will include a twin bed for each guest. The larger Cottages that house 3 or 4 guests are limited.
A private cottages for 1 is ideal if you want to upgrade to a queen bed and your own private space.
Private cottages for 2-4 offer privacy and a lovely little space just for your group.

A room at the Inn is the premiere lodging choice. This hotel-style lodge has only 9 rooms, each with a private en suite bathtroom and AC/heat. Enjoy WiFi, a communal kitchenette, and a spacious shared living room. Each Inn room is approximately 275 square feet with with queen and twin beds for 1-3 people.
There are a limited number of shared Inn rooms currently available for the 2024 Weekend Getaway that can accommodate 2-4 people.

Yes! You can book a private cottage where you will have your own private accommodations including a bathroom and a queen size bed.
The suites are the sweetest option for you (we couldn’t resist)! The suites were recently renovated and are right next to the lake. Each large room comfortably houses 3-6 women with a private adjacent bathroom in the hall to share. We will assign you suite-mates if you are coming solo. You’ll make a couple wonderful new friends and know a familiar face or two from the moment you arrive.
You can take advantage of our shared cabins! You’ll meet new amazing friends, have lots of fun, and share a spacious cabin. It's the "glampy" (glamorous camping) option - with full electricity, a space heater, and clean wood floors.
All the options above are open to you! You can share a private cottage with one other person (with two twin beds) or stay in the suites which accommodate 3-5 women or choose to stay in a cabin which hold 6-8.

You will see a field in checkout that you can complete with the names of those you want to share your accommodation with. If you aren't sure if your people are coming with you, register now and email info@risegatherings.com with your roommate requests.
The twin beds are similar to a mattress you'd find in a dorm room - so thicker and better than a camping mattress, but not as plush as a hotel. Some people pack a mattress topper if they want to add extra comfort!
The queen size beds (included if you book a private cottage or a private room at the Inn) are an inner spring mattresses with quilted padded tops - like what you'd find in a hotel.
The beds are all made with lovely sheets, pillow(s) and a quilt.
We provide a comprehensive packing list based on what people have told us they appreciate having with them! So you'll know what to bring like clothing, shoes and toiletries, plus have our suggestions for things like slippers and your favorite bedtime pampering supplies.
Bed linens, towels and a reusable canvas retreat bag are provided.
