Sara Schwartz is the founder of Undercurrent Sound Healing, a Philadelphia-based sound healing practice. Transformed by her personal experience with stress relief and grounding through sound, Sara became a certified Sound Healer and has shared this practice in community with thousands of participants and clients over the last five years.
With a background in trauma-informed care, Sara has a deep understanding of healing-centered practices offering immersive sound bath and Himalayan bowl bodywork experiences in group and individual sessions that support participants to experience restful release in a welcoming, safe environment. Central to her work is the honoring of indigenous sound healers and a commitment to making sound healing accessible to marginalized communities.

Meet Sara where sound meets the soul! Get monthly updates on her offerings, workshops, and musings on all things sound healing.

For 60 minutes, you will lay in a supported restorative shape of your choice with props. The sound bath begins with grounding and intention setting, as well as restorative breathing that will prep your body and mind for deep rest. Using voice, singing bowls, gongs, and a variety of other instruments, you will be supported in your intentions, healing and relaxation each session.
Sound Bath in Nature at the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science

Have you ever tried meditating but found it difficult to focus on letting your mind go blank? Then this session is for you! Learn how to de-stress and calm the senses with the soothing sounds of nature…all you need is a yoga mat or towel.
This event is held in the Community Room at the museum. A sound bath is a meditative experience where participants are immersed in soothing sounds and vibrations from singing bowls.
Yin Yoga & Sound Bath at Monarch Yoga NoLibs

Experience deep relaxation and inner stillness in this unique Yin Yoga & Sound Bath class. You will be guided by a Monarch Yoga teacher through a slow, meditative Yin Yoga practice that targets the connective tissues and fascia through long-held, passive poses—creating space in the body and calming the nervous system. As you settle into stillness, you'll be immersed in the healing vibrations of our live sound bath using crystal bowls, gongs, and other instruments.
Step into the hidden speakeasy at Urby where plush carpet and warm lighting set the mood for your restful evening. This isn’t your typical sound bath—it's a retro-sensory journey. Nestled in a ‘70s-style conversation pit hidden behind an unmarked door, you’ll be enveloped in soundproofed sweetness while healing tones from Himalayan and crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes wash over you.
Sink deep into the cosmic coziness, close your eyes, and let the vibrations transport you—part meditation, part time travel vibrations.
